Nicoletta Kouvara joined the Corporate & Commercial department at Dr. K. Chrysostomides & Co LLC as a Senior Associate, in September 2009, having previously worked for over 6 years in Cyprus and briefly in the UK. She is working with domestic and multinational clients, including banking institutions, private equity funds and international corporations, the majority of which are in the energy, oil, gas, transportation and agricultural sectors. She specializes in capital markets, large and complex mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and takeovers particularly in relation to public companies, as well as multi- million financing transactions. She has been involved in the IPO and rights issue of public companies in regulated and non-regulated markets in Cyprus and abroad, as well as acquisitions of large multinational companies, including, that of a banking institution in Cyprus which is listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange, where she advised on and assisted with all aspects of the transaction including in relation to local banking regulations and licensing requirements, as well as securities and exchange laws and regulations.
