Pavlos Symeonides has considerable experience in Banking and Secured Financing. He has advised local and international banks, as well as syndicates of banks on several occasions in a number of multi-million financing transactions, where he has drafted and/or reviewed loan and facility agreements, including syndicated ones, fixed and floating charges, mortgages, corporate and personal guarantees, share pledge agreements and other security documents. Pavlos’ role in advising banks is mainly focused on financing transactions in the fields of project development, infrastructure and shipping. He also frequently advises banks and other financial institutions on complex regulatory and compliance matters.
Pavlos' other main areas of expertise are in the areas of Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions and Cross Border Transactions, where he regularly advises clients on multi jurisdictional transactions, the setting up, management and restructuring of corporate entities, the drafting, negotiation and implementation of shareholders' and joint venture agreements, the carrying out of legal due diligence reviews of companies and several other corporate law issues. In the context of his practice in these fields, Pavlos often advises large corporate clients, holding companies and high net worth individuals.
